Linda P. has no fear when it comes to making quilts!  This quilt is for someone who loves moons, stars and owls!  She left four solid blocks for “drawing” out some moons and stars.  I had a brand new Superior OMNI spool, the perfect orange color for this quilt.

I drew out a moon “face” and a star to stitch in the orange blocks and stitched a Swirl and Curl freehand design over the rest of the quilt.

And here’s the fun back complete with solar system!  Linda P. often makes creative pieced backs.
