Retreats are fun! I worked on several projects including my current Postage Stamp quilt called “Dancing Nines”. I’m almost to the half way point, 22 more blocks to go! One block is the 4 nine patches with the off-set sashing strips, measuring 11 inches finished. Check out Quiltville if you want to make your own. I also finished 3 scrappy coiled bowls! The first two were random scrappy batiks and the last was controlled scrappy. Jane’s Convergent Quilt is gone! Jane was at our retreat and I gifted her one of the bowls using the fabric from her quilt lesson. She couldn’t believe that I cut it up! Now, I’m looking at my batiks remnants with purpose! Of course, any fabric would work, but the batiks wrap easily and fray less. When I get caught up on longarm quilting, I will be sewing more coiled bowls! Check out Judy at Patchwork Times for other Design Wall Monday projects! Thanks! Linda 🙂

Those bowls are wonderful! I have been thinking about making something similar. Is there a tutorial you recommend?
My quilting buddy gave me a lesson! The book, “It’s a Wrap” has all the info, too.
