It’s a finish! I’ve been saving my son’s skater blue jeans for years and thanks to my quilting buddy’s inspiration, I’ve got a quilt! My quilt is 64 denim and flannel squares and finishes at 76″ square. I finished it just in time for watching fireworks!
I love the randomness of the denim colors! The next quilt will be smaller squares, I’m on mission to use all those denim jeans!

I just finished a 3 day sewing retreat and managed to sew a complete baby quilt together! Now, to find time to quilt and bind it.

Not at all! I did use a denim needle (16) and went slow thru the intersections.
