I met Mary Ellen at a quilting retreat in January when she started this quilt.
Aren’t the colors awesome!
The pattern is called Fancy That. I love the colors Mary Ellen selected for this quilt.
It was fun to select thread to compliment the gold flecked black. We decided to use a deep rust and it looks great!
The quilting design is a freehand edge to edge called peacock feathers meander.
Stay tuned for a repeat of this quilt in completely different fabrics by another retreat attendee, Ellen!
Thanks! Linda 🙂

I love both of the quilts, the blues on a light background really stand out (I’m a blue person) but also like Mary Ellen’s quilt – it looks like stained glass. The quilting compliments both quilts. Is the name of the pattern Fancy That?
FANCY THAT is my quilt design – I am THRILLED to see such beautiful samples of the quilt, both color choices and quilting!!! LOVE IT!!! Please feel free to share your pics
with me too, I’ll share them on my blog also. Joyful Stitching, and a Blessed Christmas and New Year to all.
