BlockBase Sew Along – Block 2

BlockBase Sew Along – Block 2

Here’s my second block for the BlockBase Sew Along.  If you have BlockBase, it’s #2741.

Initially, I wasn’t too excited about making this block but my quilting buddy, Candace, saved the day!  She used EQ7 to make paper piecing templates and I was off and running!  Like my first block, I used mostly vintage fabric from recent flea market purchases.  I love how it turned out!

Here’s the link to see more blocks in the sew along.

There’s still time to enter to win Jennifer Chiaverini’s new book, “The Giving Quilt”.  You have until midnight CST tonight to enter.  Here’s the link for that!

Thanks for looking!  🙂 Linda

BlockBase Sew Along – Block 1

Well, Candace has got me started on another project!  It’s the BlockBase Sew Along!  Here’s my block #1.  Most of the fabrics are from my vintage stash.

If you want to see other blocks, here’s the link.

Candace has a great tutorial for making it with 5″ squares or Jelly Rolls.

Check back next week to see if I continue on this quest!  I plan to keep using my newly acquired vintage stash of fabrics.

Thanks for looking!  🙂 Linda
