Check out Quiltmaker’s 100 Blocks Blog Tour here at Quilty Pleasures Blog Nov. 7 – 10, 2011!!
Janann has made three awesome blue, yellow and white themed quilts. Here’s the first one, a wall hanging. Every element has it’s own quilting design. The thread is Superior So Fine #50 and the batting is Quilter’s Dream Blend.
The background fill adds great texture in the white areas.
The thread is white in the yellow areas but it reads yellow!
Thanks for looking! I’ll post the others soon!

Wendy made this quilt for one of the kids she’s a nanny to. Pretty nice, uh?! I’ve got another one in the queue for one of the other kids. Wendy is a great sewer and quilt maker.
The pantograph is Wind Blown Leaves and the batting is Quilter’s Dream 100% cotton select.
Have a great weekend! I’ll be spending it with my sisters celebrating one my sister’s landmark birthday!
Just keep stitching! Thanks for looking.

Today is my sister’s birthday! I did not give her a quilt this year but here’s a couple pics of the quilt I gave her in 2004, just a few months after I got my longarm.
I started this quilt at a retreat in January sponsored by Rainbows and Calico Things quilt shop. The delectable border was fun!
The quilting is a simple meander, perfect for a beginner but I still like it!
Happy Birthday Marge!!!
Looking through my pictures, I found a recent quilt by Candy. It’s a very fun quilt using brights and 5″ squares. Any ideas for a name?
We used Spiral Path pantograph for the quilting design, Superior King Tut variegated thread and Quilter’s Dream Poly select batting.
Candy’s getting to the end of her Double Nickel Quilt Challenge, check her blog for updates and her progress!
