Here’s a really fun scrappy butterfly quilt created by Ginny. Bubbles pantograph, Dream Puff batting and King Tut variegated thread accent the fun and whimsical nature of this quilt.

Rosie Pantograph and Dream Puff Batting
Mary has made a fun quilt perfect for the Rosie pantograph and Dream Puff batting. The batting is light and fluffy sure to please the granddaughter recipient. The pantograph is whimsical adding fun designs, lots of stitching without being dense. Quilter’s Dream Puff batting is great for photographs, the designs really pop!
Yellow, Pink and Purple Butterflies
Candy spoils her granddaughters! She has made 3 quilts using the Buggy Barn “Butterflies” pattern each with it’s own color palette. The last one was yellow and even though I tried to quilt them all the same, each one is slightly different than the previous. Because I’ve only recently started to take quilting pictures I had to get finished pictures from Candy to help me remember how to quilt them. I keep a diary with quilting notes about thread, batting and design but a picture is better!
Candy’s Twisted Nickel
Candy’s created another great quilt for her Double Nickel Quilt Challenge called Twisted Nickel. It was a fun quilt to develop a quilting design to bring out the flower elements created with the blocks. I used pink thread throughout which provided a nice contrast on the darker fabrics without being bold.
Crazy Christmas Cats!
Here’s a fun applique, buttons and bells quilt made by Linda. This quilt jingled as I quilted along! To keep the quilt soft and cuddly we decided on a medium meander for the backgrounds and some outlining and detail quilting around or through the applique. Won’t this be a fun quilt to have for the Christmas holidays?!
